Cavalier King Charles Spaniels or CKCS are affectionate, easy-going Toy Spaniels that are as comfortable sitting around the living room as they are running around the backyard. We live in the Southwestern part of Michigan and the cavalier puppies love the snow of winter and the fun of summer.
I first fell in love with Cavaliers at a dog show in 1985. I was sitting ring-side watching the obedience competition, when a little dog came over and jumped on my lap. Two beautiful black eyes looked up at me as his happy tail wagged back-and-forth, and from that moment I was in love with Cavaliers.
My involvement with Cavalier Spaniels began in 1992 with my first puppy, Kelsey, who passed away in 2008 at 16 years of age. She was the foundation of my breeding program and all of my dogs have her in their pedigrees. Her daughter Jillian is 12 and still healthy and heart clear.
